The iparty® Project is whole of community project, aiming to increase awareness of alcohol and licit substance misuse and related issues to diverse groups through the iparty® Project including:
- Schools
- Small Communities
- Industries/ Employers
- Parents and Carers
- Health Promotions
Interested iparty® Project teams form and develop culturally/ socially appropriate iparty® packages/ projects, to meet the varying needs of social groups across the whole of community based on the 'core teachings' distilled from the iparty® framework. These 'core teachings' are the inalienable core of the project and are common to all target groups.
To ensure that the strategies are culturally appropriate they must be developed from a knowledge and respect for the targeted community's culture and social environment. Additionally, projects are more sustainable when they have support and they are driven from within their community.
